I'm excited to announce that I've successfully defended my dissertation, Molecular Design of Polymer Brushes and Living Gels! I can't overstate how thankful I am to have had Shelly as an advisor during my doctoral studies. Shelly has always been incredibly kind and supportive, and gave me a ton of space to be creative and to shape my dissertation topic. I couldn't have asked for a better advisor. Unfortunately there are no photos of John and I together. John left to University of Oklahoma to be a fancy dean shortly after I started my doctoral studies. and advised remotely. I'm of course still immensely thankful for his guidance over the years and for supporting my creativity. And of course, I couldn't have asked for a better partner supporting me through this than Meg. She was a lifesaver during the writing stage in particular. I'm excited to have her with me as we navigate next steps in our life together.
